A good boa cage is crucial for the safety animal and the safety of your family. If you can’t afford a good cage to house your new boa, then you probably pass on buying one. Also, an aquarium is for fish, not for housing a boa. It does not retain the heat to sustain the proper temps that are needed. I live in Wisconsin and I found the best cage that works for the conditions here is the Boaphile Cages. They are made not too far away in Minnesota by Jeff Ronne. I find these cages do the best on the market as far as keeping temps acceptable in the winter months. A lot of the open air cages require you heat an entire room.
